The chain of Orobie Alps in the south and the Retiche Alps in the north form a frame to the territory. The altitudinal excursion offers natural environments diversified in the flora and the fauna, ecosystems which are totally unique but which necessitate care and protection. This high environmental value enables the presence of protected naturalistic areas, subjected to the care and the management of the local Agencies, and valued in such a way as to consent a major and better fruition on behalf of the visitors.
