General conditions for cancellation and modification:
- The conditions herein described refer to all the reservations made (both through the website www.valtellinaturismo.com managed by IBITIS and in any other way) with Valtellina Travel
T.O. s.r.l. ("IBITIS"), a company registered in Italy, Economic and Administrative Index of Sondrio with number: 62122, Tax Registration Number/ VAT Number: 00821050143, with Registered Office
in Via Serottini, 4 23037 Tirano (SO). All the correspondence must be sent to the following address: IBITIS of Valtellina Travel T.O. Via Serottini, 4 – 23037 Tirano (SO) – Italia, or to the
following e-mail address: info@ibitis.com
The Client accepts these conditions for reservation in the name of all the persons who are interested in same.

All the reservations effected or requested by the Client will be considered as an offer on behalf of the same to purchase accommodation and/or the service in question subject to the present
conditions. No contract will be considered concluded between the Client and IBITIS until the moment in which IBITIS: a) will have confirmed the reservation with a notice transmitted via e-mail;
b) will have received the total payment of the same. For the purposes of the final use of the purchased service, one must necessarily have the printed confirmation (Voucher) indicating the reservation
reference number.

The complete payment is required at the moment of reservation. The payment must be effected through the website: valtellinaturismo.com by means of credit card. Should IBITIS not be able to
guarantee the availability of the type of arrangement requested in the reservation, it can reserve the right to propose an alternative hotel. The details of the hotel will be communicated to the
Client via e-mail. The reservation will be valid for a period of 24 hours, within which the Client can accept the proposed solution by carrying out the payment of the total value of the same.
The payments which are not effected within the 24 hours following the receipt of the confirmation of the reservation of a hotel which is not available will entail the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
- The prices are in Euro and are to be understood as per room or per person where indicated.
- 5. With regards to reservations effected within less than 96 hours in respect of the arrival date of the Client, payment must be at the same time of the confirmation.
- Hotel.
The classification with stars reflects the general quality, the level of the service, the standard of the restaurants and the quality of the services available within the hotel. The criteria used for the
classification in each country will change in relation to the specified requirements established by the relevant authority. However, the description which follows is meant to furnish a general idea of what one
may expect from each category (THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HAS AN EXCLUSIVE AIM OF INFORMING AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A GUARANTEE ON BEHALF OF IBITIS)
Hotel Cat. Budget
In the majority of cases, the hotels are of small dimensions and belong to individual owners. Most probably the gastronomic choice and the services are limited. The dimensions of the hotel vary from small to
medium. The reception and the staff will have an attitude which is more professional in respect to that of the employees of one star hotels. The range of services offered (including food and drinks) will be
more extended. Probably, but not certainly, some rooms are equipped with bathroom.
Hotel 2 star Cat.
Hotels of small to medium dimensions which offer a greater number of services. The reception and the staff will have an attitude which is more professional in respect to that of the employees of one star hotels.

Hotel 3 star Cat.
Hotels of such dimensions as to guarantee a greater number of services, of higher level. The reception and the common areas of the Hotel will be more spacious. All the rooms should be equipped with bathrooms and,
in some cases; room service will also be available.
Hotel 4 star Cat.
The hotels belonging to this category usually offer furnishing, style and services which are definitely superior to those of hotels with fewer stars. As a rule, the rooms are more spacious than those offered by
hotels of inferior categories. They should have the availability of services such as that of a porter, room service twenty-four hours a day, laundry and dry cleaning services.
Hotel 5 star Cat.
These hotels usually offer a comfortable and luxurious layout. The attention to the needs of the client must be faultless.
Hotel. Designer Cat
These hotels can vary from 3 to 5 stars. The Designer hotels have a specific modern decor; they have a style which distinguishes them from traditional hotels. The decor in each hotel is different.
IBITIS offers the following types of rooms:
Double room
Contains two single beds. Recommendable for two persons.
Double bedroom
Contains a double bed. Recommendable for two persons.
Single room
Contains a single bed. Recommendable for one person.
Triple rooms
Contains two single beds or a double bed + an extra bed, or two double beds. The majority of the hotels do not dispose of triple rooms with three large beds.
Double room for a single use
Contains two single beds or a double bed. It will be occupied by a single person.
Quadruple room
It contains two double beds or four single beds. Recommendable for four adults.
Double/matrimonial room + extra small bed.
A room containing two beds/double bed and equipped with an additional bed for a 2-12 year old person.
Triple room + extra small bed
Room containing a double bed and equipped with an extra bed + an additional small bed for a 2-12 year old person.
Cot or small bed for child
Recommendable for a child who is less than 2 years old.
Payment for any extra (for example, additional expenses, meals, and supplements for meals, minibar, and dry cleaning) must be effected before leaving the premises.
- Bed & breakfast, agritourisms, dwellings, restaurants: should there be information available regarding same, their category is determined according to the general standard of
the type of arrangement. However, such a classification is not always carried out by an official entity and is not equivalent to the standard of the star category hotels. When available,
the classification is aimed at furnishing a general idea of what one is bound to expect
- Valtellinaturismo.com does not suggest nor recommends in particular any type of overnight stay or service. The content of this site, revised with extreme attention, remains subject
to modifications at any time and without notice. The content of this website (including the information on the travelling products, the tours and the overnight stays) is published in good
faith; notwithstanding this, the Client recognizes that IBITIS will carry out all reasonable efforts to keep updated all the information received from the suppliers.
- The Client confirms that he is over 18 years old. All the reservations are personal and cannot be sold, assigned or transferred to others. IBITIS reserves the right to take any
action to protect its own rights in respect of who carries out false reservations or with the aim to damage valtellinaturismo.com.
- It is hereby being recommended that the Client reads the Information Note on the handling of personal data in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 196/2003 in the relative
section of the website together with the conditions for use of the site which are to be understood as included in the present general conditions. Some telephone conversations (chosen at random)
can be registered for safety reasons and to improve our service to the clientele.
- The passport, as well as the eventual visas and health requirements for the Client and the persons accompanying him, are the exclusive responsibility of the same Client. IBITIS cannot
be held responsible for damages caused to the Client because of irregularities or defaults regarding passports, visas or from omissions of compulsory health treatments. It is highly recommended
that a travelling insurance be purchased. This should offer an adequate medical cover and for eventual costs of cancellation, accidents or lug gages.
- 1The cancellations and the modifications of a confirmed reservation are subject to the following conditions.
With the exception of overnight stays listed hereunder, all the reservations carried out more than 28 DAYS prior to the date of arrival in the chosen destination for the overnight stay, can be
cancelled or modified without any additional expense during the 24 hours following the first confirmation of the reservation. (With the exception of periods which do not coincide with a special
event such as fairs, rallies, etc.). The expenses applicable for a cancellation vary on the basis to the time which lapses between the notification of the cancellation and the date of the accommodation
in EACH of the reserved overnight stays. Modifications and changes which involve a reduction in the number of rooms (independently from the type of room) or the number of nights can entail a penalty which
varies from 30.00 Euros , to the total cost of the stay.
Cancellation and changes:
a) Cancellations or changes carried out from the 28th to the 14th day prior to the date of arrival at the tourist structure are subject to a penalty equivalent to 8% of the total cost of
the reservation or 30.00 Euros (if the sum of 5% is lower).
b)Cancellations or changes carried out from the 13th day to the 8th day prior to the date of arrival at the tourist structure are subject to a penalty equivalent to 15% of the total cost
of the reservation.
c) ) Cancellations and changes carried out from the 7th day to the 3rd day prior to the date of arrival at the tourist structure are subject to a penalty equivalent to 35% of the total
cost of the reservation.
d)The cancellations or the changes carried out after such periods and after the arrival at the tourist structure are subject to a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the reservation.
e) Changes in the stay: to effect modifications, in Italy call the number +39 0342 703959, or, if calling from overseas, the number +39 +39 0342 703959, specifying that you have booked a hotel.
f) Anticipated departure: in case of an anticipated departure no refund is considered.
Eventual changes in the names of the participants or in the ages of the children do not entail any additional expense. All the changes are subject to availability.
THE CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES ARE VALID ONLY AND IF NOTIFIED BY THE CLIENT DURING OFFICE HOURS TO IBITIS AND THE RELEVANT PENALTIES WILL APPLY WITH EFFECT FROM THE MOMENT OF RECEIPT OF THE SAME BY IBITIS.
The cancellations and the modifications, the notification of which will be furthered directly to the hotel or to any other structure chosen for the overnight stay will not be considered valid. The request for
cancellation and modification must be made through the website valtellinaturismo.com or to the E-mail address: info@ibitis.com.
The 100% of the cancellation expenses will be applicable for the stays which coincide with a special event. For the periods of stays which do not coincide with a special event our standard conditions of cancellation
and modification for period which do not coincide with a special event are applicable. .
Any change or modification which coincides with a special event will be considered as a cancellation and will incur the conditions just described. The only exception is constituted of the addition of rooms, beds,
cots or nights to the rooms initially booked.
- Any type of complaint on the reservation service must be notified to IBITIS in writing or by e-mail as soon as possible. Any type of complaint on the services must be brought to the direct attention of
the supplier or the hotel during the stay. In the case where the dispute is not solved in a satisfying way for the Client, it must be brought to the attention of IBITIS in writing within and not beyond the period of
ten working days from the date of return
- Subject to what is provided for in the second part of the present paragraph 13, the refund due by IBITIS for the damages imputable to the same cannot exceed the total of two thousand Euros that is the
indemnifying compensations considered by the International Conventions, in the proportion in which these are applicable.
- IBITIS reserves the right to modify these clauses at any moment.
- The Client’s reservation is subject to the Italian laws and any dispute relating to the same will be of the exclusive competence of the SONDRIO Law Courts. The confirmation of the reservation and the
present general conditions constitute a contract between the Client and IBITIS.
One should take notice of the following articles of the General Conditions of Reservation for their express approval expressed according and to the effect of art. 1341, 2nd paragraph and following: 3, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.
